The Australian Population Association is calling for abstracts and registrations for their conference to be held in Melbourne in early December. PhD students are invited to apply for travel bursaries to attend the conference.

Shanghai forum

Professor Peter McDonald and Dr Meimanat Hosseini-Chavoshi participated in the 7th Shanghai forum that focussed on economic challenges and development in Asia. Integrated with the Forum was the international seminar on patterns of economic development, social change, and fertility decline in comparative perspective.
