Master of Demography

The Master of Demography is the only degree of its kind offered in Australia.

The degree provides students with an opportunity to study population issues in a research-led environment, with a focus on applying learning to real-world scenarios. The degree will equip students with cutting-edge skills in demographic techniques, research and writing. Graduates will emerge with the skills to undertake demographic analysis and apply these to societal issues.

The degree is available in-person, with many courses available online or in-person. Two features of the program are the scenario-based learning approach and access to leading researchers. All courses will have these two key features as central components of the student experience.

Master of Demography (Advanced)

In this advanced option you complete a thesis instead of a semester of electives, which allows you to have a stronger research focus to your Masters qualification.
